Pavillon des Emirats arabes unis à Shanghai Expo 2010

Depuis quelques jours, le site de Dubai 2020 est en ligne, il reprend le contenu du document explicatif que nous avions reçu le 23 novembre dernier, lors de la 150è Assemblée Générale du BIE.
Pour le moment, pas de nouvelles informations.
Inscrits les derniers, Dubai et les Emirats ont assurément beaucoup de travail pour préparer la suite de la candidature.
Sur cinq candidats, seuls Izmir en Turquie et Ayutthaya en Thaïlande sont déjà bien avancés sur le projet, mais sont déjà enregistrés auprès du Bureau International des Expositions depuis plus de 6 mois !

En attendant, je vous propose de retourner en 2010, plus précisément à l'Exposition de Shanghai, et voir comment les Emirats étaient représentés, dans ce que l'on peut qualifier de plus grande Exposition universelle de tous les temps !
Car les Emirats ont déjà leur histoire des Expos, même si bien sûr, elle est beaucoup plus récente, à l'instar de leur nation.

Le pavillon des Emirats Arabes Unis à l'Expo de Shanghai était situé dans la Zone A, la plus proche de l'entrée principale de l'Expo. Il était entouré par les pavillons du Turkmenistan, du Maroc et du Qatar.

Le thème du pavillon était une réelle et belle invitation... la Puissance des Rêves !

La conception du pavillon s'inspire des dunes fabuleuses dans le désert pour refléter les paysages naturels et urbains très variés et splendides des Emirats Arabes Unis. Le revêtement extérieur du pavillon est de couleur or en acier inoxydable. Son toit ondule, comme si il avait été façonné par le vent, pour résultat un pavillon chatoyant dont les couleurs changent en fonction de la lumière. Cela rappelle aux visiteurs des différents pays les milieux naturels du Moyen-Orient.

Un cinéma diffuse à l'intérieur du pavillon sur un écran large un clip intitulé : "Instant en un clin d'oeil". Ce film présente les grands changements spectaculaires des villes depuis la fondation des Emirats Arabes Unis.

Voici quelques photos de ce pavillon, particulièrement soigné et précieux, où l'accueil a été très convivial et sympathique. Un très bon souvenir !

The UAE Pavilion at Shanghai Expo was located in Zone A, closest to the main entrance of the Expo. He was surrounded by flags of Turkmenistan, Morocco and Qatar.
The theme of the pavilion was a real and beautiful invitation ... Power of Dreams!
The design of the pavilion is inspired by the fabulous dunes in the desert to reflect the natural and urban landscapes varied and beautiful of the UAE. The exterior of the pavilion is gold-colored stainless steel. Its undulating roof, as if it had been shaped by wind, resulting in a shimmering pavilion whose colors change with light. It reminds visitors of different countries natural environments in the Middle East.
A film diffuses inside the pavilion on a widescreen a clip entitled "Instant in the blink of an eye." This film presents the major cities of dramatic changes since the founding of the UAE.
