Venlo 2012 - Belgium pavilion - n98

We are now again in the "World Show Stage" to discover this time the Belgian pavilion, designed by architects Goedefroo, which offers visitors a moment of rest.
A confined space under the skin of nature.
Flora, culture and Belgian cuisine.
The lodge itself seems out of the earth, as if the natural environment was cut and raised.
The raised edges of the roof and become the garden with a walk dressed in flowers and plants of Belgian origin.
Symbiosis is created in the space between the roof and the garden, interconnected by a green walk.
The difference in altitude is floating garden in the landscape and provides a magnificent view of the Floriade!
The pavilion also includes a scenographic space, a restaurant, a shop and a VIP Lounge.
Note that this pavilion project was completed in a record time of only 4 months!
This pavilion is certainly one of the most interesting of Venlo Expo. It offers a "real" path, between nature and architecture. This produces a set as playful aesthetic, which ends in the dining area and shop.
Note that Liège Expo 2017 is also represented in the form of a small totem in the dining area.
