Hier, mercredi 23 novembre 2011, Liège candidate présentait à nouveau devant les membres du Bureau International des Expositions, délégués, diplomates, Experts et services de Presse, son projet afin d'avoir l'honneur d'organiser une Exposition internationale à Liège en 2017.
C'est le vice-premier ministre belge, Didier Reynders qui a pris le premier la parole, afin de présenter le projet, le commenter et lui assurer le soutien national nécessaire.
La suite des interventions ont été pour le moins originales ! En effet, Liège s'est assurée de capter l'attention de l'auditoire à l'aide d'une présentation presque théâtrale, mise en oeuvre, ou en scène, par une charmante journaliste, Hadja Labhib, Liégeoise d'adoption tombée amoureuse de la ville, tombée dans le "piège" de Liège !

Habituellement, d'une manière aussi immuable qu'officielle, les intervenants prennent place derrière le pupitre afin de nous faire profiter de leur discours. Il n'est d'ailleurs pas rare de voir quelques spectateurs, presque endormis, suite à cette succession d'interventions, heureusement entrecoupées de vidéo de présentation et d'information.
Cette fois-ci, ce n'est plus le cas, le discours se change en contact convivial, devant des spectateurs médusés et curieux !

C'est elle qui va mener le jeu en racontant son histoire, ses expériences liégeoises, en présentant les différentes vidéo, mais aussi et surtout en interviewant M. Willy Demeyer, Bourgmestre de Liège, et M. Jean-Christophe Peterkenne, Président de Liège Expo 2017... en faisant bien sûr ressortir les nombreux points positifs de cette candidature liégeoise, dans une ambiance détendue, très liégeoise !
La bonne humeur était au rendez-vous, d'ailleurs, notre présentatrice de talent n'a pas hésité une seule seconde à interpeller l'équipe Kazakhe, en les invitant d'ores et déjà à venir visiter Liège Expo 2017.
Ils ont d'ailleurs été visiblement amusés par cette proposition, presque naturelle, mais en tout cas, très amicale.

Bien sûr, un des atouts qui fut le plus remarqué est la réutilisation à 100% des pavillons de l'exposition, pour en faire des habitations ou des bureaux, dans un nouvel éco-quartier ! Le projet est donc à la pointe du développement durable.
D'autres personnalités étaient présentes pour témoigner et soutenir le projet de Liège Expo 2017, comme Adama Samassékou, Ministre de l'éducation du Mali entre 1993 et 2001 - Président du Conseil International de la Philosopie et des sciences humaines et du Réseau Mondial pour la diversité linguistique.

En tout cas, une chose est sûre, Liège Expo 2017 peut être fière de sa prestation, en effet, celle-ci a été si dynamique, si différente des autres et si originale qu'elle a pu capter l'attention de l'assemblée toute entière, du début jusqu'à la fin.
A l'issue de l'Assemblée générale hier soir, les avis étaient unanimes ! Fraîcheur et ingéniosité étaient au rendez-vous ce jour-là à l'OCDE !
Malgré un dépassement de 6 minutes du temps imparti aux présentations, minutes de dépassement qui seront également octroyée en plus à la présentation de la candidature Kazakhe, cette dernière n'arrivera pas à contrer cette passionnante intervention, pas plus qu'elle n'arrivera à utiliser tout le temps qui lui était réservé !
Bien sûr, ce n'était pas qu'un spectacle, car les arguments sont de poids et tiennent la route. C'est du concret, Liège Expo 2017 est composée de professionnel qui ne sont pas des adeptes de l'à peu près ! Le projet est déjà bien défini, beaucoup plus que celui de la candidature d'Astana, qui même, avec une thématique qui a de quoi séduire, des possibilités d'aménagement presque sans limite, est loin d'avoir une vision aussi précise des buts à atteindre !
Et tout cela bien sûr, avec cette gentillesse et cette générosité toute liégeoise !
Rien n'est encore gagné bien sûr, mais assurément, au terme de cette 150è Assemblée Générale du Bureau International des Expositions, on peut dire que la candidature de Liège a une grosse longueur d'avance !

"Le piège (trap) de Liege"
Yesterday, Wednesday, November 23, 2011, Liège candidate presented again to the Bureau International des Expositions, delegates, diplomats, experts and press services, the project in order to have the honor of hosting an international expo in Liege in 2017.

The good mood was the appointment, by the way, our presenter talent didn't hesitate one second to challenge the Kazakh team, inviting them already to visit the Expo 2017 at Liege.
They have also been visibly amused by this proposal, almost natural, but in any case, very friendly.
Of course, one of the highlights was the most noticed is the reuse 100% of the pavilions of the expo into homes or offices in a new eco-district! The project is at the forefront of sustainable development.
Other personalities were present to witness and support the proposed Liège Expo 2017, as Adama Samassékou, Minister of Education of Mali from 1993 to 2001 - Chairman of the International Council for Philosophy and Humanities and the Network for linguistic diversity.
Anyway, one thing is certain, Liège Expo 2017 can be proud of his performance, in fact, it was so dynamic, so different from other original and if it could capture the attention of the meeting whole, from beginning to end.
At the end of the General Assembly last night, the opinions were unanimous! Freshness and ingenuity were to go that day to the OECD!

The project is well defined, much more than the application of Astana, which even with a theme that is appealing, the design possibilities almost without limit, is far from having a vision as specific goals to reach!

Nothing is won yet of course, but certainly, after the 150th General Assembly of the Bureau International des Expositions, we can say that the candidacy of Liege was a big step ahead!
